Fresh off of our trip to California, I thought I’d share a few highlights (and a ton of photos!) with you as I adjust back to the faster pace and time difference. Up first: Disneyland!
We arrived at the Disneyland park a little after 8 a.m. and hit the ground running. Literally. After hauling the goods (kids, strollers, snacks galore) all the way to the trams that take you into the park, I realized that I had forgotten our tickets and had to run back to the car to retrieve them. Nothing like getting the heart rate up early in the morning!
As we entered the gates (download the app – it’s a must!), we ran right into a ton of the characters and made a beeline to Mickey.
Walking through Main Street U.S.A. was quite a treat and Ev asked to pose for a few photos near his favorite things: including a doctor’s office and a fire hydrant with the number 4 on it. You know, because he’s four.
We stopped in front of the castle to snag a family photo and look who decided to join us! Don’t mind Fitzie’s mean mug face.
Once inside, we hit the ground running and since Everett was big enough, he got to ride most of the rides!
Marcus wasn’t sure he’d like Disneyland, but this picture below is when he realized how much fun he was having!
Then Princess Brooklyn graced us with her presence after visiting the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.
After a long day of Disney, the kids all cashed out and so did the adults!
