Local to Des Moines, then make plans to head downtown tomorrow for the annual Friendly Sons of St. Patrick parade starting at Noon. Take the kids along then plan to stop by the Pappajohn Sculpture Park to check out it’s most recent addition, “Pumpkin Large” by Yayoi Kusama.

I’m so weird, but sometimes I wish I could go back and pick a different baby book for each of my boys. The store bought ones that I currently update just lack an overall ‘look’ that is pleasing. Wish I had known about these first year journals from Baby Boy Bakery, or this playful graphic version from Lucy Darling when they were both born.

I ran into my sister the other day and we were basically wearing the same thing, but I liked her striped top better than mine. The faux knot detail on the front is one of my favorite looks thats been popping up lately.
