Aunt Mo’s house

My sister recently moved into a darling brick house located in Beaverdale. It is right across the street from the Catholic grade school all of us girls attended growing up. #nostalgia
It is also walking distance from some great local joints: Reed’s Hallow, Christopher’s, Back Country Outfitters and Grounds for Celebration – to name a few.

I’ve been helping her find her ‘style’ and I think we’ve settled on mid-century modern meets rustic traditional. HA – if that is even a thing!

The house is in great shape but needed a few cosmetic upgrades. The walls were given a fresh coat of paint (Sherwin-Williams Reflection and Passive) and my dad restained the wood floors in the upstairs bedroom. There is also a little bathroom remodel that should be getting underway any day now.

Now that we have the big pieces figured out, I’m all about adding in eclectic extras. Here are a few finds that are on the ‘wishlist’.
