I’m pretty sure there’s a lot more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking. And I plan on finding out what that is. – Derek Zoolander
So a couple of weeks ago I got an email from my sister (who works at Meredith) about a casting call that they were having. I had a little time, so I decided to take Everett down for a few test shots. I fully intended on the outing to be a complete disaster, but lo and behold, he actually stood still for a moment and they got a decent shot.
Fast forward to last week when I was notified that he’d been chosen to participate in the actual brand shoot this week.
Today my son was a male model. I’m still laughing a bit to myself…
We arrived “on set” and he got to play for a bit until it was time for him to get his hair fixed and wardrobe changed. Oh, the life!

It went surprisingly quick and was less painful than I thought it would be. Ev’s portion of the shoot was comprised of him getting band-aids applied to an imaginary owie on his knee. It worked out perfectly because of his bandage obsession in real life, although he wasn’t as fond of the generic band-aids. He kept asking for ‘Thomas’ ones.

Who knows if they will end up using the photos they got, but it was a fun (and random) experience either way!

This was an adorable post! Congrats to your son! 😊💜
