While never easy, saying goodbye to a loved one can come from such a place of peace. This past weekend we laid my dear grandmother, Lucida “Zita” Dreiling to rest.

After having made the trip to Hays a month ago to visit her, and recently making her beloved spitzbuben cookies, I know she was ready to go.

While saying goodbye is hard, I take comfort in knowing that she is now my angel forever. I love you grandma.
