Staycation

Green with envy update: It was a tough weekend as evidenced here:

Karl Sunday 1

and here:

Karl Sunday 2

It is Spring Break here in Des Moines this week which means the office is eerily quiet and it takes half the time to get to and from work. While my co-workers and friends are lying on the beach somewhere sipping fruity beverages out of coconuts, I am stuck here in Des Moines where spring refuses to be sprung.

Trying to remain optimistic (and not discredit the groundhog forever), I am taking this opportunity to make a few plans for a staycation. Here is my list for the week:

StaycationAre you spending spring break close to home or in some tropical locale?

  1. Hey Nicole! Stumbled on your blog earlier this week and have been reading every since! Love finding local blogs to see all that’s participated in around the city! Loving reading and learning more about you!

It’s definitely been quiet around the office this week! I get a lot done but it’s just not as fun not having people to talk to 🙂

    • Mollie – so fun that I have now found you too! I love some of your recipes and will definitely have to try them out. I love a quiet office – lots of unreturned emails though!
