Fire and wine update: As I type this I am sitting fireside with a healthy pour of prosecco in my hand. Jealous? Well don’t be, because it is also snowing away outside.

This weekend we are watching two of our nieces for a little overnight visit. Being the crafter that I am, I just must find a cute kid-approved project to do with the little ladies on Saturday. Pinterest, here I come!

I’ve been reading “Blueberries for Sal” to Fran. Once she is a little older I think she would have tons of fun helping me make blueberry muffins after reading the book. Cooking projects are always fun! Or the classic “Green Eggs and Ham” breakfast would work too!
