Creating ambiance update: I really do just love creating tablescapes. When I am done with a project I always leave with a smile on my face and a skip in my step. I think this one was another success!

Just like every other year, we spent our Labor Day weekend Sunday on a pontoon boat in the middle of Big Creek. It was such a nice day out too!

And just when you thought we couldn’t squeeze any more into this three-day weekend, we went ahead and celebrated my little sister’s 24th birthday both Sunday and Monday evening. Sunday we found ourselves at a Haas favorite, Hessen Haus, for das boot, and on Monday we had a family dinner at Americana. Both are highly recommended if you are in the area!

They say it's your birthday...

On the to do list for tomorrow – finalizing the little Bean’s first birthday invitation. We have settled on a cupcake theme, so I will also probably be making little cupcake sticks that coordinate with the invite. Better get to work, it’ll be here before we know it!
