On your next trip to Target, be sure to roll down the jewelry aisle because there are some real winners right now. A few pairs of earrings that I am now an owner of: tortoise hoops, drop tassels, and aqua beaded.

After hosting and attending many parties, I always like to have a good chilled wine holder on hand and this unique wood version from Pottery Barn is so amazing. Plus, it holds multiple bottles!

Is anyone else waiting for the Vineyard Vines x Target look book to drop?! I seriously have been checking daily. In the meantime, I’ve been finding some cute items at my local Marshall’s including hats, dresses and kids clothes. Score!

And again another week with no posts. I’m sorry guys. We are just in a busy season right now and to be honest, my creative juices have been going elsewhere. Hopefully I can get back on top of things around here…

I joined my sister for a little picnic at the park with the boys earlier this week and she had just stopped at Wal-Mart and snagged some super cute items that I thought I would share with you all: multicolor striped midi dress, tortoise hoops and gold plant stands.

I was doing some online browsing the other day and came across this darling Easter DIY section on the Target site. Loved a few of these ideas if you are still looking for some weekend activities!

Last Friday we decided to stay in town to go to dinner as a family and ended up at our tried-and-true location, Noah’s. Every time we are there, we feel like family. My go-to order, salad with house Italian dressing and a pepperoni and pepperoncini pizza.

Anyone else feel like this week lasted forever? The weather here in central Iowa has been all over the board, and I’ve been struggling with what clothes to put on every morning. One thing that I’ve been constantly going back to is my tried and true jean jacket. Check out this amazing coral color version!

Ev+KarlIt has been another week where Friday is here and I’m not exactly sure how it happened. On weeks like this, you can expect to have radio silence from me in this space. I’m just glad that I had a few things that I wanted to make sure you checked out this weekend.

Run and buy this top from Target ASAP! It is perfect for work or play.

I read online this week about the newest collaboration between two unlikely companies: J.Crew and Amazon. The new kids collection, called LOOK by Crewcuts, has me intrigued. I can’t wait to see more.

Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 70s here in central Iowa and it also happens to be the Iowa Cubs Open House. Hoping the boys and I can make it down there for a free dog and a tour of the dugout.

New collab alert! Drew Barrymore teamed up with Wal-Mart to create Flower Home – a line of boho chic home goods. While not exactly my type, I do really like some of her storage baskets.

I shared my annual round up of Easter basket goodies yesterday, but if you have a little babe and are still looking for a cute filler then you should definitely check out Bannor Toys. Based here in Iowa, this shop is gearing up for their Easter sale that starts on Monday and runs through the 7th.

Big12Tourney2019[not a bad view at last week’s Big 12 Tourney!]

What another wild week! We are looking forward to a weekend of warmer temps and hopefully some rays of sunshine. And what better way to keep the rays out of your peepers than with this awesome pair of sunnies.

My sister was recently rocking this pair of classy sneakers and I have now decided I need to own them too!

On a recent visit to Wal-Mart, my mom noticed they had out a dress that I loved from last year. It is perfect to throw on with a jean jacket and wedges for work, or over a swimsuit at the lake. But act quick, because for under $10, I’m sure these will go fast!
