It was a short, fast week – just like I like ’em! Anyone else ready to kick off summer starting this weekend?!

My sister snagged this dress after seeing it on Seersucker and Saddles. It didn’t work out for her, but it did for me! SCORE!

Gotta love a creative ad campaign from the folks at IKEA!

I was in the market for some new white jeans so that I could have a summer pant option for work (I normally wear dresses/skirts), and I was pleasantly surprised by this pair from Target.

Download: Memorial Day Weekend 2019

We had an absolutely amazing family-filled MDW. With visitors in town the entire weekend, we acted as tourists in our great city and it did not disappoint.

This week has been a wild one. I caught a 24 hour bug on Monday, Ev had kindergarten screening and graduated from preschool, and we have family in town for the long weekend. I am looking forward to having three days off, how about you?

On a recent trip to Valley Junction, I stopped into The Side Garage’s new space and found so many cute things. I already own this sweatshirt and have my eye on the DSM mini pendant for Fitz’s room.

I’m hoping to make a summer bucket list over the next few weeks, and a trip to the Valle Drive In is high on the list. Do you make bucket lists? I’d love to hear what is on yours for the summer.

I know it’s a little early, but I already snagged some Fourth of July jammies for the boys. And, per usual, Everett doesn’t want to take his off ever.

Scottsdale2019
[a great Mother’s Day weekend getaway to Scottsdale with friends]

This Sunday, Target is launching a new skincare line from the minds of the Who What Wear team and I can’t wait to try it out. Versed, a non-toxic line, will consist of a 19-item collection that costs under $20.

We have an upcoming wedding to attend in New Mexico this summer (the boys are going to be ring bearers!!!), and I’m trying to decide what to wear. Something from my closet, or perhaps a new dress. I have seen a few people posting these two (yellow halter + lace shift) from Amazon and I’m curious if I’d like the way either looks on me. I’ll keep you posted.

While on Amazon sifting through items I came across these colorful raffia earrings and I think they will be perfect for summer!

TTD faves: Vineyard Vines x Target

Here ye, here ye. The look book for Vineyard Vines x Target has dropped and I’m here to share my wishlist with you!

I never truly know how crazy these collaborations will be, but after seeing the Lilly Pulitzer launch a couple of years ago – I think this could be similar in madness!

The collection will be in stores and online this Saturday, May 18. Happy shopping friends!

Rhubarb season is upon us, and if you are a fan then you should definitely check out this recipe. It is my absolute favorite to make with the delicious ingredient every spring.

I wore one of these dresses (last year’s version) for work this week and remembered just how much I loved it. It’s so versatile: with a jean jacket and heels at the office, with a ball cap and sneaks for the weekend or thrown over a swimsuit. Shoot, it even makes a great pajama.

We have been working on getting our house spring + summer ready and I’ve noticed that our wooden adirondak chairs have seen better days. I really want to pull the trigger on a set of these (at such a great price compared to other stores!) from Wal-Mart.

We are so grateful for the teachers that care for and love on our boys while we are at work. A small gift can never be enough for all that they do!

[Ev giving an interview as the Youth Ambassador for Prevent Blindness Iowa]

If you haven’t been living under a rock, you know that the final season of Game of Thrones is currently airing on HBO. Last week’s episode was so intense I pretty much wasn’t breathing for the first twenty minutes. If you are into the show, you should definitely check out this Game Revealed video highlighting the episode.

The internet is full of beautiful things, so when Caroline Smith’s artwork popped up in my Facebook feed the other day I knew I had to head to her site to view more.

I was just alerted yesterday that this movie might be something I would enjoy. Um, YEP!
