After a few days for the wedding festivities in ABQ, we were off to continue our adventure in Santa Fe. We stayed at Hotel Santa Fe  which just so happened to be a couple minutes walk to the Railyard District. They boys were absolutely thrilled with this and I proceeded to look up the train schedule so that we could be ready at all times.

NewMexMeltdown[New Mex meltdown]

This has been a quick week around here, but we are looking forward to the weekend because it is Camp Branstad time! And with temps in the 90s, things are lookin’ to be mighty hot. I picked up these tie dye sets from Target and we will kick things off with a massive water ballon fight!

If you are local, then you should add a trip to the newest splash pad in Waukee to your bucket list. Fox Creek Park just opened earlier this week and we can’t wait to check it out!

I picked up this panama hat for our trip to New Mexico last week and I can’t stop wearing it. Highly recommend!

Holy fast week Batman! This one seemed to fly by in the wink of an eye and now I am ready to head to the lake for the weekend.  How are you planning on spending your weekend? Here are a few of my favorite things from this week.

Last weekend we made a trip as a family to The Hall in Valley Junction and were surprised how family-friendly it was. They boys loved hanging on the patio and playing with games.

I’m in love with these Cole Haan oxfords, and couldn’t believe when I found this lookalike pair from Wal-Mart for Everett.

I love the look of Golden Goose sneakers but just can’t cough up hundreds of dollars for them. So my next best option was to place a preorder for this pair from Vici Collection. I can’t wait to try them out!
