If your littles are anything like mine, they love themselves some Thomas the Train. When the number one tank engine came for a visit to the Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad last year we took Everett and he had a blast! Well, he is back in town starting this weekend and this time around both boys are climbing aboard with their auntie. Choo-choo!

One of my absolute favorite events of the year is upon us – Beaverdale Fall Festival. Kicking off this evening and running through tomorrow night, you can join in on all the neighborhood fun. I grew up with the fondest memories of the carnival rides and bingo games inside my grade school gymnasium, and it is so fun to get to share those things now with my boys!

A fellow blogger posted that she picked up this darling sherpa coat for one of her boys, and now I can’t stop thinking about it. I mean, Everett needs it, right?
