It was back to school week for us and that always signals a change of season for me. Now I can’t seem to get my mind off of fall scents and Halloween goodies. How about you? It doesn’t help that items like this skeleton pajama set from Target are popping up on shelves.

Our apple trees out front are full of ripe fruit, so that means I need to dust off a few recipes this weekend and get to work. I plan on making the boys wear these darling aprons while we whip up an apple pie, or maybe a crisp. This is my go-to lattice crust how-to.
