It truly felt like fall was not too far away this weekend. The morning air was crisp, I busted out my new cardi and indulged in my first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season.

We spent our Saturday afternoon tailgating (sans Evie) up in Ames for the big in-state rivalry game between the Cyclones and Hawkeyes. This year the black and gold prevailed.

On Sunday I managed to get some Target time in (by myself!!!) and snagged the perfect items for Everett’s plaid themed birthday party. Even though his birthday isn’t until December, I knew that if I didn’t snag these now they’d be gone.
