Before I headed out to Austin for work, I did a little volunteering last weekend for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure here in Des Moines. It was a beautiful morning filled with a TON of pink!

On Sunday my coworker Seth and I headed off to our HighEdWeb conference in Austin, Texas. A great time was had by all! I even managed to squeeze in a little shopping and came across a Paper Source unexpectedly. What a perfect day!

Yes, tomorrow is my GOLDEN BIRTHDAY. Not many people remember their own, but I’ve been waiting years for mine! I am turning 28 on the 28th and I am countin’ down the hours. Birthdays are the best, aren’t they?

HAPPY GOLDEN BIRTHDAY NICOLE!!!!! HOPE YOU HAVE A GRAND ONE ~ I’M SURE YOU WILL DO JUST THAT.. I DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT THESE “GOLDEN” BIRTHDAYS ~ GUESS I WAS TOO YOUNG AT 3 TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THAT~ I’m writing this at 11pm on the 27th, so I know I’m a little early, so will try to give you a call or something the 28th. Love you and hope you have a very wonderful and happy day of celebration! Grandma says Happy B-Day too! Hope you got our cards on time.
