Go Hawks update: Game day didn’t go as planned, but I still had a good time spending time with the in-laws!

Iowa vs. Iowa State, or as Adrianne refers to it, the Iowa Super Bowl.

I also managed to find some time to hang with the Bean for a little bit. She’s teething and this seems to help, so why not!

We also spent some time today reliving and remembering those who were lost 10 years ago in the tragic events of 9/11. It doesn’t seem like that long ago, but after watching a few documentaries today the wounds from the event still feel tender. My thoughts and prayers go out to the men and women who lost their lives that day and for their families who now live on without their loved ones. God bless those heroes who ran towards and into the Twin Towers as everyone was trying to escape. And God bless America.
