‘Twas the night before Christmas (Eve) Update: What a great Christmas! As my 3-day holiday weekend comes to a close I would like to report that there is nothing more I could possibly want. Thank God my birthday isn’t until October. Over dinner tonight Marcus said to me, “We made out like bandits.” Yes, yes we did! Now, I did not by any means “need” half the things that I received, but it sure was nice to receive them. Marcus even did a little surprise shopping of his own and wowed me with a oversized plaid wrap (among other things) that will be perfect for the Iowa winter.
The one thing that I did receive that has consumed me since Christmas Eve is my new Nook Color that my parents gave me. I looooove it! I’ve been reading up on my new electronic device and I think the toughest thing to do so far is figuring out which book I want to purchase first from Barnes & Noble. My two front runners right now are a biography about Frank Sinatra or The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.
Once I have figured out which book to read, I am faced with the daunting task of picking out a stylish Nook cover. Here are a few that I have my eye on – making the final decision tomorrow:
