I can’t believe it. One month has gone by since our little Evie entered the world. Life with a newborn has been an adjustment, but I finally feel like we are getting the hang of things.
Here are a few of Ev’s favorite things during his first month of life:

Once again, we have had a very merry Christmas.
A lot of our time was spent with family and we wouldn’t have it any other way. It was even more meaningful this year as we were able to share our new little bundle of joy with everyone.

My husband has been amazing the past couple of days and I can’t imagine making it through this transition period without him by my side. Having a newborn definitely makes you appreciate your support system and I can’t think of anyone else I’d rather have standing next to me than him.

Woot, woot! This blog is now officially three years young. What started out as a way to track all of my wedding planning whims has turned into quite the creative outlet for this new mama.

The weekend has passed and with it came no signs of Baby B. Not even a false alarm. I am now convinced that even in the womb my two boys are already ganging up against me. You see, this weekend was the start of shotgun season. During this span of five days every year Marcus is usually away at ‘deer camp’ with a bunch of dudes. With no signs of baby coming, he was able to sneak away each day to continue this hunting tradition. They are in cahoots I tell ya!
