One of my favorite movies of all time is celebrating its 25th anniversary and popping up in theaters for two nights only. Tickets go on sale today – PLAY BALL!

These warmer months have my boys sweating constantly (sorry, they get that from me!). I love putting Ev in a polo and shorts but most just feel too heavy. I picked up a few of this jersey version from an unexpected place and he LOVES THEM.

Always toting around multiple bags, I found the perfect reusable tote from Crapchute Bags to stash at work to take home my weekly Raccoon Forks Farms CSA goodies. How cute is the pineapple print?

Little looks: Fourth of July

It is hard to believe that Independence Day is right around the corner. Where in the heck did the month of June go?!

I am already working ahead on coordinating gear for the boys to last them the whole week! You know, because I’m crazy like that.

I snagged these cute BBQ pajamas that just scream festive fun. My sis-in-law secured the cutest swim trunks and swimsuits for the cousins and I can’t wait to get a photo of them all together again!

My summer uniform

My weekend uniform during the summer months is pretty simple. When I’m not at the office or in my swimsuit at the lake, you can find me in some variation of the ensemble below.

It’s easy breezy and can be thrown on in seconds without a thought. Bonus points: it’s kid-activity friendly.

One of my favorite summer activities in Des Moines is going to an Iowa Cubs game. If you haven’t been to the ballpark in awhile, I suggest you add it to your summer to-do list.

During the summer months my office is freezing, so I’m always reaching for my tried and true jean jacket to throw over dresses and tanks. It gets better with each wear.
