Not your grandma’s china update: I stopped by Younkers on my way home from work and was a little bummed to find out that I wouldn’t be walking out of the store with a set of our china. They had to place an order for it to be shipped to me from their warehouse, so I’ll just have to wait.

I spent some time tonight on the cornhole sets, specifically “my” set. One down, one more to go.

Tomorrow is Bridgie’s other birthday party with more friends and extended family and it is an Olivia the pig themed party taking place at our very own Blank Park Zoo. It’s been awhile since I’ve been to the zoo, but I’m very excited to check out what has been changed since my last trip.

One event that is held at the zoo over the summer for adults is the Zoo Brew. On Wednesday nights in June and July the zoo caterers to their older audience with live music, cold brews and of course, the animals. Here is this season’s line up:
