Wrap Artist Update: Operation gift giving was a success – the production team is gobbling down my delicious treats as we speak. It sure does feel good to give…
And on tomorrow’s to do list, I (along with the rest of my fiance’s family) will be doing a little receiving. My future parents-in-law have treated us to tickets to go see holiday sensation, Mannheim Steamroller, in concert downtown at the Civic Center. I am the one who usually starts the Christmas music the day after Halloween, so to say that I am excited for tomorrow’s show is a HUGE understatement. I’m surprised I didn’t make a countdown to Mannheim calendar. We were discussing the upcoming concert last night after dinner and I about choked when I found out that my future sis-in-law thought we were going to some sort of sporting event to see the Anaheim Steamrollers.
Mannheim Steamroller music is something I first heard when I was young. They are one of my mom’s favorites, and I can remember listening to their holiday tapes in the car on our 8 hour drive to Hays, Kansas to see my grandparents. Ahhh, synthesized memories of yesteryear.
If I had to choose, I’d say my favorite Mannheim Steamroller song would be ‘Carol of the Bells.’ If they play that tomorrow night, I might not be able to help myself from dancing in the aisles!
Check out this awesome light display that is set to my favorite tune:
There’s a whole lot of WIN going on in this post. Was it Allison or Adrianne who said that? I can’t believe it. If it was coming from Mackenzie, though, it would have been downright cute.
Adrianne – now we know where Mack gets it 🙂
